A.Holstein | Portraits of my first mentor
Ashley is an Artisan Photographer in Nashville and was my first-ever mentor during my young, awkward teenage years. While she mainly led me in my spiritual journey, she also poured into my passion for photography. She took me on shoots with her, shared a million tips, handed over her camera for me to practice, let me photograph her family (at the time is was her husband, dog and cat) and gifted me with my first film camera (which I’ll be sharing a series of photos from very soon).
When she told me she’d be in town last weekend I jumped on the opportunity to finally photograph her and it felt like such a full-circle-moment. Feast your eyes on this stunning latina. An artist of many sorts. Fiery and graceful all at once. No, she doesn’t model full-time. Yes, she absolutely should.
